MY FENCING CLUB - MONDAYS

My Fencing Club is a Toronto-based fencing club focused on youth. We provide children with an opportunity to make life time friendships and to develop a passion for fencing. After bringing fencing to the communities surrounding Forest Hill some 3 years ago, Katya Belkina’s My Fencing Club is now open for new students at the Swansea Town Hall.
Our beginner fencing program is ongoing and designed for children, aged 7 - 15 who have never fenced before. Please schedule an Intro Lesson with Katya prior enrolling into the beginner program.

LAURA BEGLIN DANCE - MONDAYS AND SATURDAYS

Laura Beglin Dance is pleased to announce new dance classes at the Swansea Town Hall. Laura Beglin Dance offers children's classes for ages 3 and up. They have classes on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Laura offers a variety of styles from ballet, creative movement and jazz. Laura also offers private and semi-private classes. Registration for all classes is on now and classes run from September through June with an end of year dance recital!

SPIRIT OF MATH SCHOOLS®- TUESDAYS

BAMBOO KUNG FU - WEDNESDAYS

Bamboo Kung Fu children’s class offers authentic traditional kung fu training in a class environment that engages children.  While keeping the children engaged, technical kung fu training is still the focus.  In addition, various fun-filled drills and games develop the children’s agility, focus, physical fitness.  Each child is exposed spirit of discipline and team work environment and at the same time develop camaraderie, respect, responsibility amongst team members. CHESS FOR CHILDREN - THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS

On Thursdays, chess masters and professional trainers, Goran Milicevic and Natalia Khoudgarian, teach chess to children in an easy an enjoyable manner to groups of 12 to 14 students. They teach basic moves, play development and strategies in step with the skills and experience of each child. Each lesson is followed by a practice period. SUGAR BEAT MUSIC FOR CHILDREN - SATURDAYS

Faria MacDonald, a well educated and experienced music teacher for young children, offers interactive music classes for children 12 months to 4 years old. Faria has been teaching music classes at the Swansea Town Hall for over 10 years to date! Her age-appropriate group classes feature singing and bouncing, instruments, stories, puppet shows, and creative movement. Sugar Beat classes are engaging, enriching, and great fun for both caregiver and child.

DRAMAWAY - THURSDAYS AND SATURDAYS

DRAMAWAY offers a variety of programs for children and adults including SingingWorks (Thursdays at 3:45 p.m.) and DramaWorks (Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.), RhythmWorks (Saturday afternoon) and MovieWorks (Saturday afternoon) for school aged children and another class for special needs adults. 

JOHNSON ACADEMY OF IRISH DANCING - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS

Offers workshops for kids ages 4 and up in the art of Irish dance. Classes every Monday and Thursday.

SCHEVCHENKO SCHOOL OF BALLET- MONDAY & FRIDAY EVENINGS

The Shevchenko School of Ballet was established in 1995.
The School offers exellence in programming and instruction for children and young people by highly qualified teachers. The School was organized on the world renowned Vaganova ballet system. There are programs for all ages - from elementary to intemediate and advanced levels. The students from the Shevchenko School of Ballet learn dance technique and creativity. BABYSITTING AND KIDS SAFETY FIRST COURSES - PA DAYS AND HOLIDAYS!

CANADIAN RED CROSS FIRST AID FOR KIDS & KIDS SAFETY FIRST AT HOME ALL BY MYSELF For all grade 4, 5, 6 and 7 students that have never participated in a First Aid course or if you need a first aid refresher this is the course for you! The Canadian Red Cross Peoplesaver Course level 3 is a fun filled workshop that will cover topics such as: what's in a first aid kit, calling EMS, emergency action steps, identifying emergencies, poisons & dangers, cuts, scrapes, wounds, impaled objects, nose bleeds, heat burns, allergies-epipens, choking and more! The At Home All By Myself course teaches participants how the rules change when home alone, the home alone checklist, things that the children should & should not do when home alone, & much more!

CANADIAN RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE . . . Interested in becoming a responsible and skilled babysitter? If you are in grade 6, 7 or 8 this course is for you! This fun filled workshop includes everything from diapering, first aid, safety tips, rights and responsibilities of everyone involved, physical capabilities of all ages of children, tips for SAFELY finding babysitting jobs & much more!
