We are supporting a food drive for the Bloor West Food Bank. You are welcome to make a donation right here at the town hall anytime from February 13 – 27.
All items are welcome but the food bank is most in need of:
- Canned meat (tuna, salmon, ham)
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Canned soup
- Pasta sauce and canned tomatoes
- Shelf stable almond, oat, and soy milk
- Instant coffee and tea bags
- Baby diapers (size 5, 6, 7)
- Adult incontinence products
Monetary donations are also welcome. Monetary donations help the food bank cover the cost of items needed to run the food bank (e.g. Ziploc bags, packing tape etc.) and purchase additional items such as eggs and other needed food items. Tax receipts will be issued for any donations over $20.
